There’s nothing wrong with hitting “pause” when life (like a hurricane) happens.

This is a temporary pause to absorb the inventory, not deflation, imo.

Resulting from lenders hitting the pause-button during the robo-signing/mortgage crises in an effort not to get sued by borrowers who were victims of either predatory lending practices or illegal foreclosure proceedings (robo-signing). 

This is no different than Ackman saying the world needs to pause and being short the entire market.
