PreREO I believe was run by the same person who owns AHP (American Home Preservation) - which has a lot of chatter on BP that you can search. 

It by no means is an exhaustive search but I also haven’t seen any co-op communities selling for 50% of comparable condos.I also know lenders that have originated loans for the co-ops in Laguna Hills and I was also reading how Fannie Mae buys mortgages issues to co-ops so it sounds like there’s a market for both qualified and non-qualified loans.

I recommend searching "arbitrage" here and reading any/all of the hundreds of general threads about negative elements of arbitrage.

Gentrification follows the formula of cheap rent+ east commute to downtown + open vacant space for restaurants and bars + proximity to another gentrified neighborhood that is getting to expensive so people expand their search to surrounding.  

Search for the BP podcast episode with Jude Bernard - he is very active in NYC.

This is some of the most desirable and difficult to develop real estate in the country, owned and operated by many of the most powerful and affluent individuals and corporations on earth.

Is there something like off-market commercial deals where I can search them (like Investorlift or New Western for residential) ?
