That in and of itself gives you some indication but, if you ask these people if they feel safe living in Mexico, their typical answer will be something like this:"In Mexico, we don't get involved with drugs and I don't go to areas I shouldn't be going to, rules that would apply to the US/Canada as well if you want to stay safe.
