As @Don Konipol pointed out, leverage increases risk, it doesn’t reduce it, so once again, Tardus has no fiduciary responsibility and if one of the investments they “suggest” blows up, it is the individual left holding the bag, so to speak.I am not a finance guru and while I cannot articulate as eloquently what Don was saying, I do understand it…primarily from real life experience.

If he switches to another supplier, you will have decreased supply (and the other suppliers will raise prices) and transaction friction (changing suppliers, changed transportation, cost of getting out of existing contracts, etc.) will raise prices as well.Time to dust off your old Econ 101 textbook.

AS for Fundrise I think they are/were a crowd funder to start with Just think how many crowdfunding sites bit the dust and massive loss's happened.. only a few it seems have been able to keep going..

you may want to consider investing then with some of the known top shelf syndicators if you want cash flow real estate. trying to buy low to mid range rentals probably not your bag.. it will be what it is.. inconsistent and for someone like you that is pretty detailed probably not an appropriate investment vehicle there is no real upside.
