Do you have a GC or electrician that you like in the area?  

Since I'm not a licensed electrician, I can't pull said permit.

I want to be able to just pick up one day and go on a week long vacation with my family without even thinking twice about it.I spent 6 years in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician.

But for me, that extra 10% a month (which is higher because many PM companies tack on a percentage of work done by a tradesman - often a set percentage of the total bill the tradesman submits; plus when I look over my properties I'm often getting a lower price (electrician, plumber, handyman, etc.) than a PM because I am proactive about it). 

I’m a licensed electrician and moving or replacing the switch for this room will be difficult.

There are also a few minor things that I would want to upgrade on the electrical system to prepare for a renter...so I'm planning on $500-$1000 of electrical work anyway.Here is the question: My friend is an electrician and is will to re-wire the entire house which is a 1600 sqft 3 bedroom, 2 bath house including a new panel and meter so we can increase the amperage to the house. 

I have a need to a fast and quality electrician who can diagnose problems.

The whole process took maybe ~30mins once the electrician was on site.For some added context, I have worked the contractor and his team over the past four years.

My electrician gave me a quote of $1200.

Have the electrician look at the system - ungrounded isn't ideal, but I would find out if it's truly a safety issue or okay as is.
