I just purchased the Pro Membership for the books and software.

Tickets are 30$ and its gets you a membership to carpoa for the year!.

They did not require any membership for either of us and we have the same access for Southern California (Los Angeles area in particular) as though I would have joined the association that is literally a block away from my home.

Bigger Pockets Pro Membership was a small price to pay for vetting this deal.  

I don't have any memberships anywhere yet (bootstrapping this business so watching my pennies), so public info would be preferable.  

However much of what they want to learn in the early stages of the consulting assignment which might cost them $2,000 or more could be had for a membership in a state association plus the time involved to attend one or more member meeting a state association holds.I hope this helps.

I got a membership 3 weeks later when they offered $50 off the annual price.

I've also decided to upgrade to BiggerPockets Pro membership, to push me into taking action (The goal in the immediate future is to acquire a rental property that will fund my BiggerPockets Pro membership).

Once you have a good deal that is not taking advantage of anyone, then you post it on craigslist and BP with your Pro membership capabilities.
