I was searching through some of the data and noticed that there are people from New York and more expensive cities moving there (which I would assume will drive up market prices). 

Not saying we did it alone, but I'm proud that Carrot has been a key driver over the last 8 years of helping to elevate the conversation in this market and to raise the bar for running an ethical, honest, and highly impactful business that is here for the long-term. 

I am based out of NYC but I plan to invest in Pennsylvania, or Upstate New York.

If you asked the average person outside of New York State where Upstate NY is, the most common answer would be "north of NYC."

The second will be New York which i currently reside.

This is incorrect with you an adu license, no 2nd stove, wet bar, microwave sure, but 2nd stove requires an adu license  

They're not talking about rent control in the same sense as New York City where it's illegal to raise rent by more than X%. 

Sometimes I'll come across agents who really don't know what they're doing. to me getting a license is like passing the Bar exam  it just gives you the right now to learn how to practice law.. just passing the test in RE in no way prepares you to be a good agent / successful agent thats the next step..
