I had to tell my friend that it was not the old crew, but a reboot of the franchise, similar to Batman Begins and Casino Royale.

You are in what i call the "casino effect".

You make money on the sale, the home builders earn their money and the new owner is thrilled with their new space.

Unfortunately after we bought our second rental every one of us moved to other countries (myself I moved to China) due to work commitment and we got stuck with 2 rentals which in the past 5 years miraculously we managed it remotely.The reason I found this website is that I went to an exhibition in Macau (note I was on vacation there and after a few days casino did some sightseeing and ended up there) where a company was advertising investment opportunities in the US.

If they're pulling 1k out at the casino atm every month or 2, probably not your guy.

I think the growing demographic of older Americans, empty nesters and other individuals and couples would be thrilled to not have to rent, share space, or pay larger utility bills and maintain a space larger than needed.

Living in a humbler home (i.e. cheaper with less thrills) will give you a better long term investment.
