Unless you can find somebody that isn’t concerned about all the regulations surrounding consumer loans … not suggested.

I am relatively close to hospitals on the East side of Cleveland, as well as other hospitals in other surrounding cities, so I think that I am in a good location for this.

It's anecdotal cause I don't care enough, but we have one STR on our property and are surrounded by STRs on all sides and there are folks in all every week including the heat of the summer. 

Another point that I forgot to note, this will be a sales director position covering the midland area and surrounding regions, so I will be frequently traveling to midland for customer meetings and team meetings (2 times per month typically)! 

Like @Sarah Kensinger said, I would surround yourself with like-minded people that have had success in the real estate industry to motivate you and teach you things you may not know! 

Those are probably the biggest pieces, the rest is talking to other investors, surround yourself with these folks, build the relationships, run the numbers, get comfortable with the numbers, and start writing offers.

I am now back, sitting on cash and looking to invest in Pittsburgh first, then surrounding areas.
