My friend and I were joking about how many laser tag businesses we could start!

I’ve decided to laser focus in Maryland for right now.

My flip has a very similar issue to item 1 (caused by bad plumbing in this case) and the repair was quoted at half your price and included replacing a foundational beam as well.

Be blunt, direct aggressive, focus on the goal, be laser focused on the path to reach that goal, and THAT is what you do.As promised, data, logic numbers and results right?

To demonstrate my technical competence, for my personal house I built a steam shower, installed radiant barriers with rock wool, and a wood stove insert with bathroom radiant heated floors and re-designed radiant floor heat zones, cutting winter energy consumption to 1/8, installed a whole house fan cutting summer energy to 1/2, extensive localized landscaping leading to a reduction to 1/8 the yard work, plus random quality of life improvements like wifi switches, heated floors and toilet seats, skylight install, exposed structural beams, and master bedroom laundry including electrical and plumbing, cathedral ceilings with skylights, a steam shower with wifi controllable lighting and music, concrete countertops, etc. 

The house itself sits over 100 feet off the road which is not very well traveled.I am not adding any square footage or removing any structural beams as far as I know at this point, but we are renovating nearly everything.From my understanding below are the pros and cons.

You need something laser focused.

I've not yet tried this, but I recently discovered the phone/tablet app versions will accept input from a bluetooth enabled laser measuring device, greatly speeding up the process of creating as-built drawings.

One wall had an 8" bow and the former owners had attempted to shore it up with vertical metal beams that did nothing, they looked like toothpicks trying to hold back a bursting dam!

BP is great, but it can be a distraction, like anything else, if you aren't laser focused.
