In the competitive landscape for real estate investor websites, the truth is low-cost SEO isn't going to get you deals that make you money. 

An example of my recommendation to a new investor is to go buy a house with easy re-sale, that needs superficial changes such as painting, landscaping, new carpet, roofing, etc. 

We freshened up the interior with new paint, and a few new trim items, but mostly it was well landscaped and well cared for prior to our assuming the loan on it.

It is zoned multi-family and I could do 14 or 15 straight townhouses but the City in question, while they immediately adopted the latest ADU rules, has archaic multi-family land-use regulations centered on a large apartment complex mentality that are costly for infill / middle housing  (1.75 off-street parking spaces per unit, major landscaping requirements, "amenity" requirements, unreasonably large setbacks, etc.). 

We closed the bibs that were being used by the homeless but one or two are still open for the gardener.  

I believe sharing our experiences and strategies can help us all navigate this new regulatory landscape more effectively.

I think its very interesting to see developers like National Real Estate who are wrapping up the 15 story development on 2nd and Spring Garden saying their next project on Spring Garden is simple a matter of time.

I don’t have many skills yet, but I have some landscaping knowledge, and I know how to swing a hammer. 

Other countries have a LOT of foundational differences that alter the entire landscape of everything.
