There are a lot of companies around the nation that source property, demographic, bankruptcy, foreclosure and other data, like The Warren Group, LPS/Black Knight, Experian, Equifax, Axciom, First American, and COUNTLESS others including many smaller regional specialists that have built specific areas of expertise, and which offer great services at various price points, and with various areas of focus.Do companies buy from each other rather than do it all themselves when it is cost effective, and the data is usable - you bet.

-National Mortgage delinquency rate continues to improve in SeptemberStill, more than 2.3M homeowners — or five times' the amount entering 2020 — remain 90 or more days past due, but not in foreclosure.The number of seriously delinquent mortgages (90+ days) fell by 43K in September, the first such improvement in serious delinquencies since the pandemic started, according to Black Knight's "first look" at September 2020 month-end mortgage performance statistics.Overall, the national delinquency rate declined to 6.66% in September from 6.88% in August.The number of properties that are 30 or more days past due, but not in foreclosure also improved, falling137K to 3.54M.
