I had a consultation with a solar panel salesman today and he quoted me 29k for 18 panels, however the final price would be 13k after New York and Federal tax credits plus a holiday discount.

That to me is the simplest deal structure and the least "risk to you" as you aren't waiting for the final home to complete to be paid, as I understand it most construction loans close on the "dirt" up front....although like everything in real estate its infinitely negotiable and changeable.  

I have mine for 1800, I’ve been receiving a lot of attention on and people have been touring it a lot, however no one has finally made the next steps to move in.

If the final title is closed in your personal name the title attorney can have you deed it over to the LLC later.

JD, I'd agree about cat pee.....it has something in it that will make you see Jesus, even with a respirator....But that house that had 9 dogs locked inside of it had this beautiful wide-plank flooring, Ponderosa Pine...unbelievably gorgrous.....I had it sanded once and got about 50% of the smell, twice, maybe 75 %....third time got 95%.Primer/paint did little.....finally had to have the walls and ceilings skim coated with new texture...throughout the entire almost 3000 SF house.

After 45 years investing across many asset classes, many investment types, and everything from lowest risk to outright gambles, I think I finally know the answer.The biggest divide is between investments in which operational control over that investment is with the investor, and investments in which control rests with another party.  

After many years of analysis paralysis, I'm finally in a place where I'm ready to make my first real estate investment.

And finally, even if you do pick the "winner", there are good reasons to doubt whether"investing" in bitcoin or the winning crypto will actually produce long-term returns that outpace those of alternative assets like businesses and real estate.Point 1: A strong crypto might emerge to challenge national currencies and be taken as a serious currency for daily use by a major percentage of the world's population.

Finally, I might be novice to alternative investments but to your point, I believe Norada just ran into an economics wall and lost its ability to meet obligations.
