I suppose if you have lots of problems with the house and have the money for several $50.00 copays then they could be a good thing, because electricians, plumbers, etc all charge an arm and a leg just to come out not to mention the $75.00 an hour the charge; so I guess it depends on your circumstances.Susan

Its for contractors such as electricians, hvac, ect. what they do is you have a county you work in or counties, and you buy into the network and only you control those counties but if the counties are a certian size like near pittsburgh you can have as much as 3 guys in your network but if it the size of my county I have only me. and what that company does is estiblish a network a forum for everyone to post ideas, problems, situations ect. and not have to worry about some guy down the street stealing your ideas. you know who your helping and you will know if that guy knows what he is talking about.

I checked it out and saw a breaker box so it has been upgraded, but I want to bring in an electrician to be sure the system is up to code.2.

Set up in Excel I found I can get 10 properties per page, and I print it on heavy stock paper because it gets a bit dog-eared by the end of the year.At the bottom of the last page I put in important phone numbers that I got tired of looking up; Electrician, A/C guys, utilities, Justice of Peace Office etc.

I'm an electrician and see different houses every day just about so I'm used to seeing a variety of different things.I guess the total finished square footage of the home is close to 1400.It has a main level and then a finished basement.The main level has: Wide living room, 2 bedrooms, and a half bath.The basement has: Full bath, bed room, kitchen, and then a room that could be a dining room.

That said, as I write this I have an electrician in my kitchen, moving circuits and switches mainly (it was a poor design), when he's gone I'll actually install the recessed light cans, then texture and paint.Remember, if you're paying a "tradesman" $50/hour (cheap in most parts of the country) you have to "earn" about $85 to net the $50!

My company is one of five good ones that I know of who cater to landlords and deliver what they promise.For networks, you can find a plumber, electrician, handyman, and HVAC person directly and talk with them on the phone.

I have a good amount of experience in construction and feel comfortable I can do all the work myself (with the exception of electrical, should any electrical need to be done I will hire a certified electrician).My main question is what the best route of financing would be.

ofgiftI'm an electrician and although I don't do residential work (mainly industrial), I do know that the panels, cables and devices used now aren't much different than what was used in the 70's.
