It's a risk just like anything else, but if it appreciates moderately and we keep letting renters pay equity, then it finally turns into a 10%+ investment (annualized).

Is it still legal to drink alcohol in CA or is it just koolaid now?

In light of the declines in the prices of energy and other commodities and the weaker prospects for economic activity, the Committee expects inflation to moderate further in coming quarters.The Federal Reserve will employ all available tools to promote the resumption of sustainable economic growth and to preserve price stability.

I fear, without either a reduction in capital gains or some other incentive for the entrepreneur, this will be a prolonged recession and an even longer drawn out period of low GDP growth with a moderate chance of higher inflation.

But in moderation.

Currently the majority of the 1/2 acre, the moderately sloping back yard, is covered in blackberry bushes, in some spots up to head height.  

The American day laborers were the 'bottom of the barrel' , because they were usually unemployable due to alcohol, drugs, mental illness, just plain attitude and that's why they were doing this.

Either sex, alcohol or trouble with the law.
