I have no idea why con artists pick on real estate deals as much as they do, I guess it's the easy pickings among the public playing on people's greed while fleecing them.I'd change the title to this thread, the "Art of The Scam". 

ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL SCAM AND FRAUDthis simply does not exist int he lending world.. only people that fall for this are naive and or just want to believe  or they simply don't know better.The other good one is buying an insurance policy from a company in bangkok  more exotic I guess lures people into these things.. they will steal your identity and take small dollars from you until you figure out you been duped.. 

It's a straight up scam!

Just dared me to come to Detroit to do anything about it.The UDW scam is finally concluding.

I thought I had a Private lender lined up at 100%, but he was a scam.

I am so glad to read all of this. i have been getting their mailings and emails and have been interested but was worried it was some kind of scam.

I wanted to do a cash out refi so I called my lender. They asked how much I wanted to take out and I said as much as possible. They asked me what I thought the house was worth and I said $250k, Zillow says 255k so abo...

I finally got a call blocking app on my phone that screens many known spam and scam and telemarketing numbers.
