YUP  pro membership and networking are second to none ... especially if your a big mouth like me.

I started out with my REIA  taking notes and taking photos of the monthly meeting in lieu of having to pay for a membership.

For those investors that fancy themselves the expert, consider getting your own real estate license and MLS membership if you think you real estate agents are obsolete. 

@Phoebe Hodges-Carter, you may want to try out Co-Construct.. it's membership based from I believe $30-100 per month, but is extremely detailed in all facets, and it does to everything you mentioned.
