Touting in the media about having a good experience.. 

I'm touting my own horn a bit here, but I often wonder why I have friends and family who are not successful wind up with either no Broker or a Different Broker?!

I've seen a lot of answers that tout the virtues of "direct lenders" and can say while going with a direct lender does work for many borrowers if they fit into that specific lender's box, there are just as many that get jacked around by direct lenders who say "We're direct lenders, we make the rules" when they really don't. 

I don't have the 50 year timeline everyone talks about when they tout Stocks.

The osciallating pad sanders and modified spinning buffing machines that are often touted as alternatives to the older and more expensive belt and drum sanders will not easily get you down past the scratches and wear of decades.

In my posts, I never touted Chicago.  

I find it interesting that so many folks who tout, they are successful because they don't "think and act" like the average American, are shaming the poster for doing the same?
