Im lucky to work in an interactive office environment for a private company, where I have the ear of some successful operators.Everyone learns differently, but without the working experience I now have (and continue to compile, every day), my path to operator would surely be a bit longer. 

@Nicholas Aiola - For folks interested in hiring you/your firm for CPA services, does your firm specialize in real estate tax, or do you advise on other areas as well, such as, IPO stock options, interact with clients’ wealth managers on tax efficiencies, etc?

I would document the interaction by taking notes on what was said just in case a LE agency calls you to find out what this guy is complaining about.

She is a broker and has an agent working for her, also these people are investors and have the local RE investor group, who literally learned or honed his skills on the job with their help.It seems that if you get your salesperson license you just may like the interaction since you come from an industry that dealt face to face with people, albeit on a short term case.Good luck...
