The investors accepted it.  3 months later the buyer tried to reduce the purchase price to $2.6M to stiff arm the investors. 

I would be happy to have them move the large storage shed and its whatever contractor provides an acceptable bid rather than city employees doing the work.

Thankfully it didn't get accepted.

Who will accept it, and is it really useful?

Course of prior conduct may be used to determine what constituted acceptable quality.

. - We almost feel sorry for the foolish/naive DIY landlord that inevitably falls for their sob story and accepts them.We have had 2-3 that have gone through our process and so we accepted their multi-month payment.

Advertise as you please, on any venue that will accept your line of work and be honest about who you are and how you can help homeowners, and people that don't want to deal with real estate fees.

I think we all do to a degree.
