I noticed quite a few of the reviews were from dead accounts or 1 and done posters so I was a bit weary about the legitimacy.

A sure sign of a dead beat customer is them NOT wanting to pay the deposit , it is a big red flag that they dont have the operating capitol . 

Beneficiary would receive current balance at time of death IAW Roth IRA rules.All sounds good but I’m not familiar with Athene’s possibly non stock investment vehicles.  

I lost pretty much all my savings and stocks from the scam.

They would receive equivalent money plus an interest rate better than a savings account (plus less volatility if they wanted to put $$ into stock market).   

They know their rate.The stock forms from my CPA include a tax comparison page that makes it easy to calculate the effective tax rate and compare line items year over year.

If we take the minimum for credit, it will be $100 instead of $2,000 or less.We have stock portfolio that we don't want to touch for the rehab around $200,000 that is liquid upon selling. 

Do you invest in stocks outside of maybe a 401k/ira?

is this loan secured by your primary residence as a HELOC  or are you borrowing against your stock/bond portfolio ?
