Do you guys see the benefit outperform the 2~3k price difference?

I really wanted to pursue this not so much for the financial benefit but for the learning experience.

Lots of lessons learned and greatly benefitting from this wonderful forum.

But for years I was just working hard without seeing any benefit and I had to keep going even though there was no light at the end of the tunnel.  

There might be some added tax benefits for this if you add in depreciation to help push you to a lower tax bracket. 

One of my early properties barely broke even, but after a couple of years, rent hikes and expense optimization turned it into a strong performer.For cash flow benchmarks, I usually aim for $200-$300 per unit, but your situation.. house hacking.. offers unique benefits like reduced living expenses and quicker equity buildup.

Use the ge benefits that you have earned to their fullest. 

The mortgage is currently under my name, so I’m unsure what benefits, if any, I’d gain from using an LLC in this situation.

Other advice, especially that pertaining to tax benefits, is also highly appreciated!
