If you go in that direction, I highly recommend speaking with multiple franchisees from each brand before making a final decision.

He refuses to let you talk to anyone else in the training as far as getting their contact information & he won't let you speak to people who have "successfully completed a deal with him."  

Maybe I'll need to give it some more consideration, haha, especially because we could probably actually go see some properties in person that way and she speaks passable Japanese.

By the way, if you do speak to the previous landlord and they are not forth coming, that's a warning sign!

I don't know Orlando as well so I can't speak to interesting areas as well as I can Jacksonville, but there are plenty of interesting areas.

Note, I speak of this as an immigrant household.To expand on #3; international trade is good.

I also have this same question about a Multifamily deal we have where we will need to purchase land before approvals.. you’d think being in this as deep as we are we’d know this answer but, it’s actually proven to be a pretty difficult thing for me to come across even with speaking to several people in the industry.. my own mother is 32 year lender.

I do want to expand directly in my area and having more confidence when speaking to landlords but that just means my sales pitch still needs work. 

So, my recommendation is to reach out to an experienced agent and speak to them.
