I believe depreciation on that unit that you were living in starts at that point as well.just bringing this up because it was mentioned in another post where someone was house hacking.

Well, not so fast.For every successful flip, there is an account of some nightmare project that sucked the bank account of someone dry.

A couple of years ago, I worked with an investor who never updated the contact information for the loan and the Bank call the seller (ex-wife), that day she was mad at her ex-husband and told the bank her ex allowed someone to steal their property from them and they got no money, she was kicked out of her house and there were strange people living there.This could all have been avoided if the investor did this process correct.Get educated, also I do not know your attorney but not many attorneys have the knowledge to do this process correctly.

Assuming you have the MLS data you are interested in mapping (which you'd have to get from someone who has MLS access if you don't since you want sold prices and Texas is a non-disclosure state), you could create your own map using batchgeo.com.
