I will be honest with you that most investors including myself are not exactly open to sharing our private money lenders because selfishly, once one person that is well connected finds out the private money dries up super fast.

Actually Maryann, my motives are slightly selfish.

LOL hahahahahaha Mike that cracked me up especially the last part where your wife wouldn't let you have jigglin babes man wives can be so selfish sometimes huh lol :mrgreen:And I agree with you about the infomercial scammers.

Sound selfish but what you do not want to do is make the property or yourself vulnerable in this. 

The reason I don't is purely selfish: since my husband is an agent, we can use the referral system to officially refer a potential buyer/seller (if they want) directly to the agent who we use for our deals. 

Obviously this is a selfish request but I'd love to attend more webinars and can imagine that other newbies like me are still grinding at their day job while trying to learn more during any available free time.

For one thing it is the right thing do, but more selfishly speaking;  it also makes it unlikely that the tenant will be able to move later.

Some brokers / investors are selfish, for a lack of a more sensitive word, in that they don't want to share commission yet they can't find their own buyers and usually seek the assistance of a wholesaler or birddog to locate the buyer and they don't want to pay the birddog either.

Selfish request, I use my own and train real estate VAs in-house and we've placed a few to some close partners.
