When you make a lot, lot more you can go after minerals, oil, etc.

Years ago he bought some raw land and built a self storage facility. 

I had a stake in a startup HML in Texas and helped set up a facility for it and a private lender who is open to it but never closed anything with him.  

It is too complex for them.So, the IRA that owns the LLC is not also a brokerage IRA. got it, thankyou, hopefully His trust/bank offers some better cash management options as we all know they are getting at least 5.33% from parking his money at FEDs reverse repo facility, or if they have any brains buying 4-8-13 week Tbills for 5.5%, then again they probably are and won't offer him any options so they can keep all that profit, which means there's a business opportunity for a trust co/bank that will 

So if I'm trying to not be the victim of a well-oiled marketing machine, this is the way I'd look at a deal like this.

But I was figuring I can make that a big storage facility after doing some construction.

I also see this frequently around Tarrant County...like mostly Tarrant and Parker where there is a oil/gas lease in place. 

Don't you love it when they paint over oil based with water based?
