I have been unemployed and contemplating the next steps.

Hello everyone.I am here daydreaming during my 9-5 day job but contemplating in taking a development project of a lifetime.

PS: The reason why I'm even contemplating this is that the first house I bought for 156K ($800/mo for the mortgage) is renting for $1,620 so I know there is more cash flow opportunity from cheaper homes. 

I have one rental property and I’m contemplating on taking the plunge, and starting to create a rental portfolio and get away from working for the man.

I'm contemplating selling my primary residence and buying a primary residence. 

My husband and I are in the middle of closing an out of state deal in Fayetteville NC - We've been contemplating using the property as a STR but are kind of nervous since it's our first deal.

Contemplating if this is a good deal now and long term, does any have any advice in regards to analyzing this deal?

The long-term (10k/mo passive) can be pretty overwhelming and seem unrealistic as your sit and contemplate where to spend your 55k.

I’m thinking of moving back in 2-3 years and have been contemplating adding an addition up and out before renovation prices get crazy in the area but still want to keep the income.The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and rents for $2200.
