Hello,   I am interested in purchasing a vacant parcel from a tax auction that is in a gated townhome subdivision. 

A tax deed will be issued to the highest bidder at the public auction-which will take place approximately 4 months after the application for tax deed.

I found the parcels, the descriptions of the properties or land, but I don't know how to find out if there are any additional liens on the property that I will need to pay.Is there anyone here from Utah who is familiar with those auctions?

Auction starts in less than two weeks.

Is it typically straightforward to make such payments, or is there a chance that the bank might refuse payment and proceed with an auction?

Which state do you want to invest it makes a big difference  @Ned Carey I was looking into FloridaI’ve been going into auctions in Florida past several weeks.

Found an auction selling building supplies, i got enough 16’ stain grade pine crown molding for $0.25 ft plus 10% buyers premium to do a whole 2200 square house.

Purchased various sheriff auctions, short sale, and just low balling.
