We lived with it for a while and kept it as storage/ laundry, but it was always the black-eye of the property.

I host Black Diamond, and we will be scheduling an event on due diligence for out-of-area investing, it's currently in the planning stages, so we haven't scheduled it yet, but it will be posted here on BP in the events section - maybe October. 

There was a ton of info for people who wanted to become syndicators, yet very little out there for people who want to become passive investors.From the outside, this whole syndication thing seems like a black box.

If you've been on here for a while now I'm sure you've seen the many great resources that are available.If you're looking to network or chat, besides the resources and connections here on BP, I'd also recommend attending a local real estate group such as Black Diamond REI in Mass. or RIREIG in RI.Also with your design and aesthetics background you might try networking with some stagers as you probably have a lot in common :)

Hi @Dana Black,It sounds like you've already made up your mind that you want your second deal however having a hard time trying to figure out which move to make. 

I am sure you think you work hard for your money but  I have seen many investors who do shoddy jobs or less than quality on their flips and price like they are gold plated so let's not call the kettle black. 

@Thomas S.... even though 85% of my rentals are not section 8 I would not classify the people how you are.Here's the deal.... trash is trash... it doesn't matter if they are white or black.

Lets say the tenant is white but the boyfriend is black.
