Because I know a lot of folks debate what the South Bay is, as I understand it, we are talking about: Torrance, Palos Verdes (and RPV, Rolling Hills), Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Gardena, Hawthorne, Carson, Lawndale, Lomita, Harbor City, Lenox, and Inglewood.

I have noticed several great real estate options as I am looking to fund my own rental property within the next year.I’ve found a multi-family unit in a Los Angeles, that I’m sure I could get for 460k$-490k$ because it’s been on the market for 20 some odd days but the price has continuously went down.

I am new to investing in Isla Verde (Carolina) Puerto Rico and I have a property that I am considering renting out.  

Torrance, Palos Verdes, Redondo, Lomita, that I can connect with to learn more?

s advice - doubling rent and/or taking 50% of income would almost certainly take every bit of their profitability in a Los Angeles market.

Guess I've been mostly focused in my world here in the southeast valley and up in Verde Valley.

@Nadav GivoniI know it’s an old post but what I know about Puerto Rico is that now is the best time to buy - after the hurricane they’ve received plenty of funds and there are huge companies going in there because 97% of the island is an Opportunity ZoneI would stick with the metro area of Condado (too expensive now)Isla Verde (only near the big hotels beach front)Old San Juan (anywhere anytime there is good because of scarcity of supply and steady demand with tourism and the uniqueness of the place) Problem is how we banks would want 40% downpayment but maybe you will find other investors willing to carry financing for a year or two till you get established and show presence on the island then banks will give you a loan with a 25% downpayment Got a lot of clients and investors friends down there and they love it
