I went on youtube and looked at instructions and found all these instructions where they kept the current mirror in place and then added or glued a frame around the existing mirror. 

Also, if you have hot air duct work floor mounted or close to the floor wall mounted, check for the duct covers securely installed.

We currently have finished ceilings, so we'd be mounting/ glueing the ceiling tiles right on the drywall.
