Initially speaking to the sussex zoning guy he made it seem that the zoning permit would be no big deal, wouldn't require a survey, and just asked us to draw a simple diagram of where the building is located on the property relative to the neighbor's wall, front curb, etc.

And I was able to do this on my own, spending only $480 on the renderings (included below), not including the application fee which was an additional $360 or survey which I had done about 2.5 years ago for $625.

Not an easy license to get.Boats will need to be USCG compliant and you'll have inspections, they aren't just checking for life jackets, it's a survey (like an appraisal or home inspection, but worse, like checking air cleaner connections, oil or water leaks, service records, etc.
