Wow... with that low a rate for private money, non collateral and that high an upfront cost, claiming that it is refundable if you don't qualify--- I would be very suspicious.

And the homes that are on the MLS  that are excessively cheap have been on the market for a long time and just seem suspicious.

Again, we obliged, but I started to become more suspicious.

I am suspicious of these lists because I thought such an activity was illegal.

As I do feel very suspicious about this opportunity, I will proceed with caution.

It makes it look really suspicious to the average Joe.

I was pretty sure the deposit dates had been all over the map, and was going to write to Cozy support to, ahem, query them about it because it felt suspicious to me.

It may look suspicious to an underwriter. 

I became suspicious because his business is in CA, license in Nevada (many businesses license in Nevada) but he wanted me to wire $1875 cash only in PpI(mortgage insurance) to an account in VA.
