There seem to be quite a few disconnected cases, governmental actions, and inquiries against FLYNN, but nothing organized. 

This really sounds like a great opportunity for you, but it is worth it to lay a proper foundation up front so there are no disconnects between you and your partner/family friend.  

This would include permits, utility disconnection, debris removal, and site prep basically graded for the foundation crew to start pouring a new basement 

Of course it was a foreclosed property but was vacant for more than four years i.e. gas line was disconnected from outside, plumbing issues, water damage and so on (many surprises).

I had a name and a number, but when I called it, the number was disconnected. 

If you know someone, you could get a new 2.5 ton unit, line set, a-coil, new disconnect box (if needed) installed for around $2000-$2500.

Or other similar bristle brushes would work.I would caution that if it's hard duct pipe may be screws to hold the sections together that might get hung up if you tried to run a towel through, but I have done that with success - gently pulling of course.If it's flexible duct pipe, well, they do come disconnected quite easily.Then there is the vacuum hose if you have one long enough and can safely access the roof with it - then access from the inside as well.Hope that helps some.- Joe

Since acquiring the building, I have had all active knob and tube completely disconnected.
