Since you are really passionate but low on funds, you should work with your current circumstances. 

Usually, PM take 10% of the late fee in normal circumstance. 

The problem is that due to life circumstances I have to stay in a certain area where there's not a lot of duplexes and the numbers are as good as in other areas.  

It also was not decorated up to the standards of our market, another reason it was under-booked.Again, it really depends on the circumstances. but new STR owners need to really do their research and be fully informed when thinking through the management strategy, especially for larger and more complex homes.
