We also have our HELOCs and primary bank accounts through the same bank, so are able to electronically transfer funds in and out of accounts daily (hourly if we wanted), which we do (quite often daily) to take $$ out of accounts with larger availability of funds to pay down HELOCs with interest rates, to save interest on a daily basis, and then retransfer from the HELOC back to the primary account when it's needed to pay bills, etc.

Some of the resources I've gotten used to tapping:1)County property tax records to show who's currently being billed (not always to the same address as the property) and any chain of title it shows.2)County clerk's online records to show actual deed and deed of trust documents electronically scanned.3)truepeoplesearch dot com, which I've found to be a good, free resource for looking up records by person, by address, or by phone number, and any person it has information on will show associated relatives, maiden / married names, address history and phone number history.

Millions of houses are in a POOL with millions of other houses in MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System) so that Wall Street Cats can get fatter, which is illegal because it separates the note from the mortgage making it an unsecured debt. - Can you say "Bifurcation"?.

that some investors have used electronic door deadbolts with the buttons for the passcode as well as the key slot, to eliminate tenants from calling you to let them in if they forgot their keys etc.

Since my state requires me to give my tenants an option of payment that is neither cash nor electronic funds transfer, I wouldn't want my tenants to shy away from EFT because they could send a check in 5 days later.
