For food, about 99% of what we eat is Cream of Wheat for breakfast, homemade chili every day, a lot of rice and a lot of fruits and vegetables. 

The one catch is if you read through all of the regs there is a Bed and Breakfast operator license you can apply for and if it is a historic building (I think you mentioned that it might be?)
