I cant see a benefit long term.Course I still remember those 15% interest rate days. and what goes around comes around.Myself having a FIXED low rate as is common today trumps all.Economy always rides the roller coaster,,take advantage of low rates fixed,,,because those arm's will be wishing some dayPut excess funds in a huge rainy day fund,,,your goals and wants may change faster than you think.

South Carolina as a whole- with maybe some coastal exceptions doesn't see the big rollar coaster of housing prices like say Phoenix where house appreciate sharply and then lose value just as quickly.

Thirdly, the connections which I made through this site that made me feel more comfortable in Pulling the trigger.I purposely am not going to Divulge too many details...for privacy reasons (feel free to PM if you'd like and I would be more than happy to divulge :) ) What I will say is this ...It was a roller coaster in which hell of a lot of learning was done.The process took a few months and every week was different.
