They bought south of Dallas, Central Austin, Kyle, Houston near Bush airport, San Antonio near the hospital area.  

We said thanks but we wanted to develop the site into 8 unit apartment building to hold.Our strategy was to obtain the necessary entitlements during the first 12 months and then see where the market is and make a decision to proceed to construction permits or hold/sell.In July we were approached by a major developer who was evaluating a 6,100 SF parcel adjacent to our south property border.

I think North Charleston by the airport would be a great place to build new construction 100 plus unit .. get it up and running sell to investment grade operator.

I am looking at 2 factors: proximity to Cancun airport and proximity to beach, shops, etc.

I realize pay is somewhat regional and a pay cut might come with moving.Ideally live in a center-of-town area...sidewalks, trees, community, the more walkable/bikeable the better, trying to stay away from the cookie-cutter homes and suburban sprawl.Bonus points for universities nearby, airports and highways within reasonable driving distance.

Hi Megan, am in the Tampa/Lutz area of SF ten minutes to USF,20 Minutes to the airport,15 minutes to downtown and Raymond James stadium.

I tend to focus on 4 main criteria:  Job growth, great healthcare, within 30 minutes to an International Airport (or one that has Southwest Airlines), and low taxes
