I ran into him at the airport about 10 years later dressed in a very nice suit and got to talking to him .. he had moved up the ranks and was now head of the capital markets for his very large west coast commercial brokerage.

Worth area and is between DFW airport and the north Dallas corridor where Frisco, Richardson, McKinney are located.

The DFW and Dallas Love Field airports make it easy to get just about anywhere.

Here's what I'm thinking so far:1) Add a bedroom to a section of the house that has currently windows and 3 walls (was previously used as a den) - this should be a relatively simple upgrade, permitting isn't bad in our county.2) Renovate bathrooms (2 full) - tiling, toilets, vanity.3) There may be a way to add another half bath off an adjacent room to turn into a mini-master bedroom. 4) Kitchen - upgrade counter, nice tile for flooring. 5) Add a deck off the back walk-out basement double door (it's about a foot drop to step out to the back patio).

The owner of the lot calls me up later letting me know that there is concrete batch plant (CBP) permit pending on the adjacent lot which shares the common boundary. 

Direct flight to KC (from any bay area airport) is also 3:30...

I'll even cover your $50 for your seat in the room (you pay your own travel, meals and accomodations).I suggest a road trip because, with your attitude, going anywhere near the TSA or airport / airline security would be a virtual guarantee of more Congressional hearings.I am curious, however, about "things that will make Renatus look good".

At the risk of being accused of doing a volte-face about the prospects of the area, there's an article in the Post-Gazette today about Amazon visiting several specific places in the area: the Strip District, the Hazelwood Green site, the lower Hill District, the Carrie in Rankin, and the airport site.It made me think for a minute.
