If they press you for why, reply that the background check is confidential and if you told them why, you'd be violating that confidentiality, which is true.Chances are, you're going to find some colorful background anyway.

We will either face:austerity (higher taxes, less services)default monitorize the debt (print money to pay off debt).I think the we will talk about austerity but in the end the printing press will be too tempting.Politicians care more about the short term as they are alway worried about re-election.

This "betting on appreciation" receives a lot of bad press on BP, but most of the investors I know that have made a ton of money in real estate invest this way.I like to buy either on great terms subject-to and get some cash flow or force the appreciation myself and sell to fund more rentals.
