I don't focus on the residential market but have friends that do.Used to when the markets where just recovering the first time home buyer houses they could make 30k on resale.Now with all these shows on TV like the last cycle you have heard's jumping in and overpaying for properties with big dollar signs in their eyes.

Instead of spending four hours watching TV every night, playing Fortnite, or partying with friends, read books, listen to podcasts, attend networking events, study the market, walk neighborhoods talking to people and looking for deals, etc.

I think in addition to the fact that it's porous, you actually put up a roadblock from buyers with it because they don't recognize it after watching HGTV and other TV shows. 

Many scenes from the TV show Northern Exposure was filmed there.

There are things that I personally do not agree with about how he is getting free rents, but then has money for 3 cell phones and cable tv, but the system let's them get away with it and I am not going to change it.

Well, that's okay, I've been known to sing to the radio, talk to dogs, make comments to the TV and post in forums years after the OP has left the building!

They're usually spending a half million or more on top-to-bottom renovation with top-dollar finishes, all while filming a TV show.

The TV in the unit is brand new (32" led tech tv).

HGTV I think is made up half the time so don't trust what the TV says. 

I have only seen mortor pans built on TV.
