All this said, even the #$Ying cable companies demand your social :) Don't rent to them if you feel uncomfortable but this would probably happen again.I did, we suggested a better way to give us the SSN and leave no trace anywhere else…..Well at this point it’s not the SSN we aren’t getting, we have been unable to verify the relocation employment, nor can we contact the current employer as we were told it is a delicates transaction, so I am done spending time on them

Initial owner was on a contract for deed where, unfortunately, they were unable to meet their payment obligations. 3 investors involved in this deal. 1/3 split up front cost. 30 year conventional financing with one investor assuming loan while all parties had a legally binding MOU.

We have had other candidates who say they are self employed but our process requires tax returns - although we have had a couple who could produce the appropriate pages, most of them go on to admit they don't report it and thus are unable to verify the income.
