Every rental I rented I had to pay utilities, other than the odd community that they paid for my cable or snow removal.  

I was a bit lax on this one as we own 2 other houses in a a 3 block radius of this one, including the one next door and had no problems with the others - folks in that area tend to take good care of their homes.Lots of little red flags on this property though - they were stealing electricity using jumper cables (who does that?)

Zillow estimated value is $767K and will sit on 2.9 acresLot 2, 3, & 4:  Comprise of 2 acres each.All lots will include water, cable, electricity and ocean views.My dilemma is whether or not to build a spec home on the vacant lots and sell them for a higher end value?  

Maybe all the houses for sale will just have electrical chases installed to facilitate easier solar installation so cables don't have to be run on the exterior.
