Similar situation happening to me in Birmingham, AL. basically quoting 6,000 for a variety of things that end up being sheetrock repair in 3 places, paint the entire house, remove garbage and mow the lawn.

More than half have dishwashers, and we eliminate garbage disposal is most cases.For small apt units we supply frig and range.For luxury houses or condos we supply more appliances.Often times former tenants or former owners have left appliances, we have in the lease that we will NOT repair or replace any of those appliances, but will remove at the tenant's request.Around here the appliance repair service call is $60 before getting in the door and time & materials thereafter.Sometimes we buy used appliances from appliance stores.
