Just needed for some tips on saving and managing money better .  

They have given rent to retirement builders money and will never see it again.

Many of them sell the course at 20k a pop and that is how they “make money in real estate†Sad but true.

@Shaylynn O'LearyI think I may have posted this in response to you in another thread a while back, but here goes again.If you pick a random "low cost" market like the ones you named, don't know anyone there, don't set up a network, buy random properties, and turn them over to people you've never met to manage, you will most likely lose money. 

But, that is where the money is.I pick up trash at our properties. 

@Ella Marie the Pro's are you can build long term wealth, the Cons are you can lose money if you cannot properly quantify risk.

In the latter I would much rather have my money and be in control. 

Putting your money into a fund or syndication.

I've found the people who want to charge for their time and "mentorship" typically need the money because they are struggling- maybe not the best person to take financial advice from.
