NO thunderstorms Hail wind. 

Hail mary attempt but maybe there is a creative solution?

My recommendation would be to find other comps within the mile radius; while only closed sales are used in valuation, I would even look at pending sales and submit those as a Hail Mary.   

My property insurance went up considerably in Texas due to the high incidence of hail/wind storm damage. 

Value add is in other income opportunities such as adding washer/dryers in units and renting out storage garages and covered parking to protect cars from hail.

I hail from Detroit, Michigan but I currently reside in Dallas, Texas.

I have required down payment and am approved for loan ... however I am having trouble finding insurance that covers wind damage and hail damage on the mobile homes.

While siding is the norm where I am, it is more easily damaged by hail or tenants banging it or putting their BBQ to close to the wall.New paint and trim will change the house and you can add a pop of colour to the front door along with new house numbers.

tax's sky high  lots of weather related issues  bad soil caused house settling a lot and of course hail and wind. 

Just takes a hail storm to need to change the roof or a water heater floods the condo to make this a horror story.
