If your $$ in rehab has led to an over improved but beautiful and well built house that will result in many years of maintenance free ownership, I would consider using tactics like furnished room by room rentals on Airbnb (then converted to direct pay) to get maybe $3000/mo or more from your rental. ($600-700/mo per room plus utilities).
