You really need to learn real estate and a bit of financing before this tactic is attempted.

Also, this tactic runs risk for the investment if not completed in the proper sequences.

Has anyone put money in escrow to accomplish this task - or any other tactics?

Investors being open about their deals, methodologies, and tactics, without all the scammy hype!

To me you sound like a grumpy human being whos advice giving tactics hit below the waist. 

I believe not every fiduciary relationship is the same  There are many different agents and they all have different tactics/strategies that make them all unique and same goes for clients I always advise my friends and other investors to interview around and see if there is an agent out there that can match your needs as a buyer. 

A co worker here introduced me to the whole selling game a couple weeks ago, There is a lot of money to be made in this field, i started by driving around neighborhoods looking for distressed properties.With my mother most likely being one of my first investors I could use the whole selling tactics to find great deals send them to my mother and help her with the rehabbing thus getting my foot in the rehab side of real estate.Any advice is greatly appreciated, and if there's anyone in the DC/MD/VA area i am always looking to network, I dont know much so it would be a great help learning from someone who's already in the position i want to be in.Thank you

Although there was a lot of upselling (I did not personally care for their tactics), there was enough content to make the weekend feel as if I got my money's worth.

I didn't Go well into 3 as it is just some nasty business having to do with Fraud, Scheming and Many other disgusting tactics done by lowlifes trying to get ahead on others.
