Right now that area is being bought up and those old duplex's are being torn down and replaced with modern condos, but you might be able to get one a little under $375-$400K.There are some additional duplexes in Oak Lawn and into Highland Park, but those run a lot more. 

Not sure what the 4 things (3 white and 1 brown) are mounted along the top of the boiler; possibly zone controls for different parts of the building but then I would expect more piping coming off of them.This boiler is not ancient but far from new / modern.

MHP are simply not being built much these days.. cities counties have a hard time approving them.. then the absorption given the cost of the land and modern infrastructure requirements make them most challenging at least here on the west coast. if anything they are bought closed and subdivided for stick built housing..
